Anya Taylor-Joy

Allya Taylor Joy was born on 16 April 1996 in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor was a former banker. Jennifer Marina Joy worked as a Psychotherapist. His father was an Argentine with Scottish as well as English descendance. Her mother is of Spanish and English heritage. She was the first born of a household of six children. Four of her siblings are from the previous marriage to Taylor's dad. Buenos Aires was her home up until she was six years old, and the family relocated from the city of Victoria in London. Taylor-Joy says the move to London was traumatic and that she was unable to take the time to learn English in order to prevent returning to Argentina. She had to switch schools between Northlands and then Hill House. In the following year, she joined Queen's Gate School to study ballet and act in the school's productions. When she was 16, she quit school to pursue a profession as an actress full-time. Taylor-Joy's desire to be an acting star began in the early years of her life. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the very first model to hire her as a professional model.
