Simone Biles, American gymnast (born 14 March 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) is considered to be one of the top athletes in sports. Biles was raised in Spring Texas in the Houston metropolitan area after she and her sister Adria received adoption by parents Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles. Simone's interest in gymnastics began at age six when she took a trip with her group of daycare children to Bannon Gymnastix. Simone remained in the hands of Aimee Borman's coaching from 2011. Biles was awarded the gold and bronze medals in the women's Junior Olympic National Championships 2010 on the floor and vault prior to her first appearance in 2011 in the elite category of the competition. In less than two years, she was a dominant competitor in the sport. Biles distinguished herself by being constant, possessing an enthusiastic and energetic personality and incorporating a high degree of difficult to all her activities vaulting uneven bar floor exercises.
