Harry Edward Styles, known in the world of music as Harry Styles, is a British singer and composer, recognized as one of the members of the band One Direction. Based in Holmes Chapel in Cheshire England Styles is the son of Des Styles & Anne Cox. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School where he created his own musical band with 3 classmates. The band was dubbed White Eskimo. Following their victory in the Battle of Bands 2009 thanks to their outstanding performance, the band also took part in the 2010 Battle of Bands. Nicole Scherzinger was the judge who suggested Harry Styles to be part of a new group named One Direction, along with Liam Payne Zayn malik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. The group performed Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Be Sucky without You as well as Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart in the competition, which helped them become one of the leading contenders to win the contest.
