Sofia Pernas was born in Morocco and moved to California at age five. She grew up primarily within Orange County. The actress got her first taste of acting in the year of 2015. That same year, Sofia Pernas received her degree from University of California San Diego. Pernas played small roles on NCIS and Leverage. Then she landed the role as Marisa at The Young and the Restless. After her exit from the soap-opera Jane the Virgin in 2016, the actress was cast in the role of Catalina the character that was on the show frequently. The model speaks four different languages. The relationship started in May 2020 after Pernas split up with her wife Chrishell Stause. Pernas Hartley and Pernas Hartley were married secretly in May of 2021.
