Angela Gossow Urach

Angela Gossow is a German woman born to Christian parents. There are three of her siblings. Her parents divorced when she was just 17 years old. Their business failed, causing further financial problems. Her financial troubles were made more difficult due to her eating disorder and anorexia. When asked about her decision to step down as the singer of ARCH ENEMY Gossow stated that there's a time and place for every thing. My professional career started in 1991. The joy of living on the road was fading. Instead of feigning it, I decided to quit. The group was first led by Johan Liiva who was replaced by German singer Angela Gossow in 2000.
